Taking my clothes off in random places
Yesterday I ventured off to Toluca Lake Health Center to have some pre-op work done for my upcoming surgery. I have never had a mean nurse or doctor there and have always been treated well by the staff. Yesterday though,Nurse Ratchet was on duty.
BG: I was put in a procedure room that doubles as a supply closet. It has a bed and plenty of room so it is clearly used for that purpose often.
NN=Nice Nurse
NR=Nurse Ratchet
ME= Me,the happy ,shiny patient.
NN " Okay just wait in here and put this johnny on. I have to get the EKG machine and then I'll be back in a sec."
Pulls curtain shut and closes door as she exits.
Door flies open and curtain is yanked aside.
NR "And you are here for...............??????" whie slapping the back of her hand against the palm of the other.
ME " EKG"
NR "Does anyone know your'e here????????"
ME "No. I just find random rooms and take my clothes off to see what happens."
NR "You shouldn't do that!"
ME "Oh yeah???"
She then realizes what adiot she sounds like and proceeds to get what she came for, all the while complaining,under her breath, about me being there. Meanwhile NN comes back in.
NN "Lets go to a exam room where you'll be more comfortable."
ME "You sure? Cause this has been so much fun!"
NN then explains everyone at the front desk heard the conversation and thought it was a riot.
Glad I could make their day.
