Back in Bloemfontein for the final leg of a case. Flight was OK. Back in the nice guesthouse. I got an Opel Corsa this time, which I COULD NOT figure out how to get into reverse when I got to the guesthouse and needed to park. I got help from the owners' son, who had a friend who could tell me that there is a SEKKRIT BUTTON on the gearlever you have to press to get into reverse. Who knew?
It's really hot here. Trying to decide if I should go out or order in. I got a late lunch/early supper delivered last time I did this, which worked fine, so I might just do that again. I need to prepare for the case tomorrow. Also I need to stock up on drinks, or else I'll get dehydrated, one of the operational hazards of being in this altitude and climate.
