"Santa Claus said I was going to die!"
Halloween Horror Nights was SO much fun.
It wasn't scary. It was FUNNY.
before we went into the park, we decided to grab some dinner. patrick and colleen decided that the "World's Most Unique McDonald's" would offer a fine place to dine. ;) it's scary in there. much scarier than anything i saw at universal. like, we sat by this thing with a head like a moon that was seated at a piano. i was like "guys, it's gonna move. don't worry, i'm keeping my eye on it... i'm not turning my back to that thing..." there was also a fairly scary cut out of bill cosby.
so then we went to the park, and parked in the handicapped parking because we had a van with handicapped plates. ;)
the second we walked into the park some guy in a clown costume came up to us and growled at colleen. so she growled back. the guy said "Hey! that was pretty good, i was thinking about taking a break, you wanna cover for me?"
i also struck up a conversation with a couple of the scary clowns as they tried to jump out of the mist and scare me.
"Roar!"
"Hey, what time does the park close?"
"1."
"Thanks dude"
"no problem"
the first house we went into scary. like, there were strobe lights flashing everywhere, stuff kept smacking me in the face, and guys with guns kept popping out of nowhere. it was some sort of government experiment gone wrong theme. but it was still super fun.
the second house was the funny one. we only got to go into 2 houses, because the lines were seriously 2 hours long. this one was called "PsychoSCAREpy" and it had a christmas theme. like, a bus load of lunatics crashed on christmas eve and took over this house and killed everyone. it was HILARIOUS. this one guy was giggling and painting a snowman with blood, and he screamed "get out of my house!" and I was like "way to be a dick on christmas, dude." and he started laughing. then santa claus showed up covered in blood in his underwear weilding a chainsaw. and he told jessica she was going to die. and we all started cracking up. it was just too much.
we saw all the shows and rode two rides too. it was hard to do anything else because it was so freaking crowded.
the Rocky Horror Tribute is pretty awesome. and the Mummy ride was insane. all in all, i had a great time.
eventually we left and wandered around City Walk for a bit. we posed in front of margaritaville and just BSed around... Stephen Lynch is going to be at the Hard Rock, and i wanna GO.
then we went to Dennys. once we got into the light we realized that we all looked like hell, but then again, everyone does at denny's at 2 in the morning.
i'll post picturea and videos later....
