goggles, love your goggles....
I went to West Shore yesterday.
I have to say, I wasn't as thrilled as I thought I would be. I'm definitly over high school. WAY over it. But it was still nice to see my old teachers and all those wonderful little underclassmen I befriended over the years.
I need 15 hours of community service in a school to pass my Introduction to Education class. So I emailed Ms. Ladd, who in turn forwarded my email to the entire science department. I'm booked up for the rest of the week.
I spent yesterday cleaning Ms. Narvaez's room and grading papers and typing stuff up for her. I had to wear those fantabulous West Shore chemistry goggles. ;)
She did that demonstration with the methane gas and the water cooler jug and the fire... It made me happy. =D I remember when she did it for my class, and the second I saw the water jug I was like "Oh COOL!"....
That was my geek moment of the day.
Random Note:
What the fuck is up with portable city? When I graduated there were 3 portables. Now there's like 8. Oh, sorry, they're not portables. They're learning cottages...
