YES. Amazingness.

The epilogue for the most part made me want to gag up butterflies and rainbows (Albus Severus... COME ON,!), but I really, really wanted to know what happened to George, and Luna, as well as who became headmaster and all that.

And yeah, you catch crazy stuff by rereading. In the early chapters of CoS, Ginny forgets "her diary" at home and they have to go back for it before heading to King's Cross...OH, SNAP, RIDDLE/HORCRUX/INSANITY.

Have you ever seen those Super Mario flash videos? (http://www.alxlen.com/flashlevel%20ads/banner1%20468x60/mariocentral.html), in case you haven't. Anyway, for the last chunk of the book (war and all that), I had the crazy music from those videos playing in my head. It was glorious.

Just a note about your icon, unrelated to your actual post: 'Pants' in English actually means men's underwear. So 'Merlin's pants' refers to his undies, not his trousers.

I didn't make the icon. And sorry, I do believe I speak English, albeit American English which differs somewhat from British English.

One other thing: British vocabulary that is different from American vocabulary is often changed in the American versions. I don't have the British version so I can't check, but yeah, it could just mean pants.

Good point. I'd be very surprised if that weren't the same in the original text, though. I'll have to check.

i agree with pretty much every single thing you said in here. i even have a crazy aunt who's against the books! but yeah, i'd just like to add, i think that the way that hermione and ron first kissed was the absolutely most perfect way for that to happen. much love.
:)

good stuff.
