Morphieus is what I call my personal trainer Ron. Why? Well, seriously, he looks EXACTLY like Morphieus off of The Matrix...no lie!! Craziness!! Anywho, onto my story...
I got to the gym my normal time, he said he wanted to take me early..great! I could get done by 5:45, get on the treadmill for a half hour and still meet Nichole in time for tanning...Or so I thought.
Some 53 yr old lady started with us last night. Her and Ron were sooo engrossed in politic conversation that I found myself constantly asking him what circuit he wantd me to do next. Now, I take my training VERY seriously. I expect the same from my trainer..after all, that's what I am paying him for. Well, when I have to constantly ask while you gab..I find this a problem. Not to mention the fact that I had to ask him to spot me at some point for my last three. I shouldn't have to do that! Needless to say, I didn't get out until 6:15. Boy, was I pissed!
We are changing my schedule to Monday, Thursday & Saturday's now. My strength has progressed so well that we are going to be performing harder workouts. I will need more recovery time. Also, I need to get in more cardio time. This will help improve my endurance and burn off this fat. Ha!! He says minimum of 60 mins or maximum of 1 hr 15 mins for cardio on my off days. Good Grief!! I can do it though.. no problem.
Sadly, this 53 yr old bat will be training with us on Monday. I am so not looking forward to it as she is going to PISS ME OFF!!!
Onto other stuff....
Mary Jane, my wedding coordinator, never called me back yesterday. I came into work to an email at 4:20 stating she was very sorry she didn't call me back but she had a few bridal emergencies that arose. What on earth classifies as a bridal emergency?!?! She'll be calling me today around 10:30 to chat.
Going to the cleaners after work today. I hate to see this bill! I think half my dry cleaning wardrobe is being dropped off. Then, I'll run to the gym to get in some cardio, go tanning and then tackle cleaning the bathroom.
I have a full day tomorrow. I have the gym in the am. I'll be doing my own weight workout as Ron had a church function and couldn't train me tomorrow. I need to get in my 3 days a week so I'll be on my own tomorrow. Then, I have to take Missy to the groomer's for her 3 month beauty treatments..ha! Then, Tom's Uncle is having a 40th Birthday Party/Cook out(Let's hope it doesn't rain) at 3pm. We'll be attending that. Hopefully it doesn't rain..they've been planning this a lot lately. Don't know if they have a rain date tho....they never mentioned it. I like his family though. Looking forward to seeing them. They are all a bunch of fun-loving type people...really funny and fun! I'm lucky to have a soon to be in-law family that is like this..haha! Could have turned out a lot worse.
