It's been a while...
I know, I know. I promised to update regularly, but come on, who honestly thought I'd do it? Okay, so my life hasn't been all that exciting as of late, just work, and WizardTales, and more work... Stick in a nasty double, inner-ear infection, and you've basically caught yourself up on the last month or so.
Okay, so, funny story. I'm still working with the preschoolers, which I'm sad to be leaving next week. One little girl, Amy, sat down on my lap with a book and asked me to read to her. As I began to read, she turns to me with this serious expression on her face. Let me remind you, I teach the two year olds, so a serious expression is quite humerous to any onlooking adult. Anyways, Amy looks at me and asks, "Miss Crystal, why do you have all those boo-boos on your arms?" (Need I remind any of you that I'm a natural red-head, and am fairly covered with freckles). I responded with "those aren't boo-boo's sweetie, they're called freckles." She preceeded to ask me if freckles hurt. Once I finally convinced her that I wasn't in any pain from the "spots" on my arms, we finished her book, and she went on her merry little way.
I thought the whole situation was utterly priceless. I mean, how often does one get to see such a display of complete innocence. It doesn't happen often enough, in my opinion. I love my job. :D
