Girls to be vaccinated against cervical cancer virus
A step forward - I hope that all of the EU countries and the rest of the world will follow the example of Germany and Italy in providing this vaccine to all teenage girls. Even if it's half as good as claimed, it can still dramatically reduce the chances of cervical cancer later on in a girl's life. Women deserve all available kinds of protection against sexually transmitted diseases, as they are disproportionately affected by them.
