Yawning chasm
Sometimes I'm not going to keep up on my promise to myself to write things here. I need to accept that it isn't a failure to take a break and not yammer to an empty room sometimes. It feels that way, though, because I'm a former gifted child and the world isn't working out as expected, as seen in dozens of tumblr memes. All of which I only see when reposted to Instagram because I'm old.
I've been on a memoir reading kick lately, which is likely in keeping with being old. I used to envy and rage a lot more when reading, but I'm increasingly curious about how people end up in different places. I still have some weighty books on class in my TBR pile, because I'm not sure I can engage and stay rageless, but I'd like to delve into them at some point because it's an issue I live daily.
