So a friend of mine messaged me a few months ago, asking if I had a tumblr. Thanks to Twitter, I am both wary and repulsed by most of the new mainstream media, but this was a reliable source, so I decided to check it out. And it looked interesting and there were pretty pictures and people can post quotes in a logical and not internet-hoarders type of way, so I kind of liked it. But I had a pep talk with myself and decided that I would have no idea what to do with that kind of freedom, so I told her I was going to opt out until I could find a reasonable excuse to clog up another little piece of the internet.
Then I stumbled onto
Hyperbole and a Half and I remembered that I used to love telling my ridiculous stories to people who might actually not be able to judge me for them. And then I remembered tumblr. I 'm pretty sure I ruined the surprise with the first sentence here, but I went and got myself a tumblr. So if you feel the need to read about the not-so-personal aspects of my personal life, feel free to focus some of your attentions over there. My non-fiction LJ posts will probably continue, just as infrequently, as they have been, because they tend to be a little more personal.
If you have a tumblr, please understand that I have no idea what I am doing over there. I respond to snark and sarcasm, when properly applied, and would love to not look like an idiot. Teach me!
