Well, hello!
It's been a month or so of being very busy. How've y'all been? My roommate arrived as scheduled and things are going well. Our cats (she brought one with her to join my two) are getting used to each other slowly. It's good for me to have her here...I'm not as depressed and am actually doing things around the house. Still a long way to go to be completely organized but I'll get there.
She's had some setbacks since arriving. The job she thought she was getting fell through and she's not found anything else yet. Now she's having very bad back pain, to the point she's having an MRI right now trying to find the problem. She's hoping it'll be an easy fix without surgery. It's definitely been a strain on my finances since now there are two more mouths to feed on my paycheck but I am still glad she's here. I think she's very grateful for me being here to help. Her family isn't like mine..,they aren't as supportive of her, at least not all the time.
My job is still just as enjoyable and I'm starting to make progress getting caught up. I enjoy going to work every day, which is nice. They've been offering overtime to get other departments caught up so my next paycheck should be pretty good.
Okay, going to go read and try to get caught up on LJ posts. Wonder how long they'll have her back there in that tube? Have a great day!
