Another weekend gone...
and it's such a sad thing. So, I went to the midnight showing of Harry Potter Thursday night. I went at 9:00 and saw part 1 again, and then stayed to see part two at midnight. That was definitely the way to do it for me. I loved seeing them back to back. And, wow, part 2 was just perfect. The perfect ending for this series. I've been such a huge fan for years and it's sad to think it's over, but my nephews haven't read the books yet, and the younger ones haven't even seen the movies so maybe I can re-live a little through them. Movies very rarely live up to the books that inspired them, but I can say I loved the way they re-created the two book 7 movies.
I'm flying to Pennsylvania later this week to attend a director's workshop. I'm excited and nervous about it. I will be around some of the big wigs of the Sweet Adeline world this week and it's a little intimidating. But, I'm going to do my best to learn as much as I can and try not to get star-struck. =o)
