I've come to realize that my issue with all things stated to be the way they are simply becuase they always have been and always will be is not due to the actual notion of something being accepted as "normal," but rather when that same ideology then becomes an excuse for behavior.

Simply put, every single person has their own character traits (such as sensitivity, courage, outspokenness, etc)...and also has a conceptualization (whether conscious or subconcious) of how someone with similar attributes behaves. As a result, they unknowingly make the choice to act in a similar manner because of the fact that they are unable to grasp something further than "people who are as such act in this manner..." The true failure is losing oneself by this...Define what your traits are based on nothing but yourself...CREATE THE DEFINITION and find yourself free from all the confines you've created concerning your own person...

It is undeniable that without this individual approaches and attitudes, the whole of human nature would be lacking its single greatest aspect, and yet it is also to me believable that there exists a possiblity of defining your own person in the highest sense while maintaining those characteristic components. It is the only way a person can truly be unique...

There is more to this but I've lost my train of thought due to a barrage of fireworks launched by my hillbilly neighbors up the street which are now upsetting our 14 year old dog to the point of shaking...it's amazing at how many times they see it fitting to do this, especially considering that each mortar costs upwards of $600 (they've launched 15 to my knowledge so far), they spend any remaining money they have on beer, they couldn't think of a better way to spend the money considering they are celebrating their son's graduation from high school (then again, you have to consider if he even has the capacity to spell college...and I'm not being derogatory, but in fact I am completely and utterly serious)...and above all...THEY LOOK THE SAME AS THEY DID EVERY TIME BEFORE...I guess it could have something to do with the fascination primitive man had with fire...
