Travelin Fool

Wow...it's August. July just sort of flew by, but I was traveling so it was okay. Two weeks ago, I was in Ashland with my Mom and Jorm. We were staying in the Ashland campground and on Saturday night we went up to the Big Top Chautauqua to see John Hiatt! The seat were  FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!! We were 15 feet away from him. Got to hear such songs like Paper Thin, Tiki Bar, and a whole slew of others. The concert was recorded and will be played again some Sunday night on NPR.  YAY! Other highlights of that weekend...dying my hair in the trailer park and when I went to the showers to rinse it out.....the showers were closed. I spent a good amount of time getting what I could out in a very little sink and then the rest came out when we asked Jorm to hook up the hose. It was funny to see.

Last weekend, again with Mom and Jorm, we headed downstate to celebrate my grandparents 60th anniversary. I met a whole lot of family that I didn't know and a few I sort of remember meeting once a long time ago. Grandma and Grandpa got a new computer so their old one followed me home like a lost puppy. Soon, it will be filled with either all of my writing and smaller files while the Lappy gets used as a music storage or I will add more memory (if I can) and the computer will be the new storage. This will then prevent the epic fail of the iPod getting wiped out because of either an automatic update or Sync error. It was such an epic fail and sad....14 gigs lost ........several have been recovered since then.

Last, but not least, Tuesday we celebrated Dad's birthday by having a sleepover at the Children's Museum. Very fun!
