Regarding the Charity Auctions
Everybody knows about the STAND UP! JAPAN charity auction right?
I had hoped to provide a Guide to Yahoo!Auctions so that everyone could participate.
Having seen a few Tweets from His Strawberryness that mentioned "international" and "国内外問わず" I had assumed the auctions would be open to the entire world.
Unfortunately, logistics seem to have gotten in the way - the Charity Auction is only payable by bank transfer, which is beyond the scope of any guide I can write due to the complexities of performing them across countries, currencies, and laws.
However!! ALL IS NOT LOST!
First, ninive made this post about a shopping service that can act as an intermediary for auctions, including this one.
Second, I am also offering my services as an intermediary - ONLY FOR STAND UP JAPAN AUCTIONS - to members of this comm :3
The prices are exorbitant, but on the chance that someone here can afford to bid at this range, I would hate to let mere logistics be the only thing preventing your generosity.
