For anyone who isn't reading the full thing, I'll just cross-post this important part:
As it happens, I have an account with one of the banks connected to Stand Up! Japan.
If anyone finds it prohibitive to make a donation from overseas, but would like to do so anyway, I can do it for you provided you first send the money through PayPal to me.
There will, of course, be PayPal fees (no way to avoid that) but considering that transferring to SUJ is free, the total fee will be quite low.
If anyone reading this wants to send some donations to this particular organisation, either leave a comment or PM me, and I'll help in this way.
Alternatively, you can wait and see if more ways of donating become possible (I'm sure they will, but as of now there is no news on what those will be and whether they will be feasible internationally).
