Life update

I haven't posted in a while, but I figured I can mention I am in now in NYC. Currently, I am in Bayside until I find my own place, but I am out of active duty, but joining the NY National Guard in April, and ready to be a NYer :)

I don't think I ever asked this: why New York, specifically? Do you have family in the area, or old friends who ended up there, or some dream you can only pursue there?

I do have friends and family there. New Orleans lacks opportunity and well I plan to be a teacher, which NYC definitely needs. It is also a great place for me to convert.
