Yes, indeed, I was on the road at 6:07am. I got to see the sun rise. Such as it is, anyway, when it's hidden behind hills. (After that, I drove into heavy fog, so no luck there.) I made it to school in near record time, which was great. And lucky, too, because god decided to smite me for being smug about having the photocopier(s) to myself early in the morning. Which is to say, the one we're encouraged to use informed me I was at my limit (first day of classes, eek!), and the other decided to jam SIX times before I gave up.
The good news is, I found this in my mailbox:

It's like the quote that's been going around: "An apostrophe is the difference between a business that knows its sh*t and a business that knows it's sh*t." Ha ha ha.
Maybe this semester, I'll also remember to layer. It was 53 degrees when I left this morning. In the high 70's when I got done, and 90 when I got home.
