Project 365, 2nd ed.: December 16, 2009
Today was the last day of the conference, so here I am back at the airport, waiting for my flight home. With an empty laptop battery, and a charger that it's in my checked bag. Phooey! Got here 3 hours early, even! Not necessarily by design, but I had lunch with my godmother, and we got here with plenty of time to spare. That's a lot of grading time that went wasted. We had lunch at the Blue Dahlia Bistra (pdf menu link)), and it was extremely tasty.
On the flight home, I happened to (literally - he sat down in my row without realizing I was there) sit next to my former advisor, and so we talked for 3 hours. Which is pretty funny - only ever see/talk with him at conferences, it seems. :)
Aaaaand after I got back, I picked up the rest of my family at SFO on their return trip from Hawaii. Only airport I missed out on in my tour of area airports was SJC. So sad. ;)
