Today was another furlough day, so loopylape strongly suggested I do not work. And who am I to argue with such forthrightness?
After trapeze lesson (let's just leave it at "ow"), I stopped by tanglegirl's house to pick up some yarn. And to say hello to Duncan, who is back home again!!! Yay - and thanks for all the zen thoughts sent in his direction.
By the way, our former pole instructor is a semi-finalist in the Pole Superstar competition. Please vote for her, Noelle Wood, here! Vote from different computers (they wised up to people doing multiple votes, darnit), pass it on to your friends, whatever. We need to send her to NYC!
ETA: If you watch the videos - quite a few of them, including the current 1st place - are kinda dumb, IMHO. For us, it was not about how many splits you could do, but more of the athletic aspects.
