Yes, a bad idea for him, but a good idea for plot. She's going to have to REALLY put on her a-game to change him though.

Haha Allison says 'bring it!' She's not really interested in changing him, just understanding him and/or helping him.

She has this problem, where she believes people are inherently good, and that circumstances turn them into something else. There's very little I can do once she decides that all a certain person needs is 'a sympathetic ear and maybe a little help'.

Well, there is some good in Ink since I don't see him ever turning bad- he just is maladjusted to say the least. So yeah, she's not wrong there.
