Music Hath Charms
I was going through the special features album of the movie “Across The Universe,” a DVD my sister, Judye, gave us for Christmas. I was watching the full musical performances part and in particular the number “Dear Prudence.”
The Beatles have always been important music in my life. They have helped me get through some very hard times.
At any rate, for some reason the music and that scene just broke me up and I began sobbing violently. I totally lost it in a way I have not done for years and years. I have no idea what it was about, but it was a nice, if scary, catharsis.
If you haven’t seen this movie yet, do yourself a huge favour.
