Robbie Passes His Big Exam!
I was so excited and proud to learn that Boy Wonder passed his nursing final on Thursday. He had studied hard for it, and was sick as a dog with a cold the whole time he studied and took the test. But he passed, and was “pinned” Thursday evening along with the rest of his class.
The Pinning Ceremony has replaced the “Cap Ceremony” in nursing since nurses no longer wear the distinctive white caps of their profession. Besides, it would look really funny on someone like Robbie!
I really am proud of his hard work in this course. It hasn’t been easy, but he has stuck with it, and has turned into a pretty good nurse, from what I can tell. He certainly has attained a level of knowledge and confidence that is evident in many ways. And he seems to love the work, which is very important. A new beginning for him. And us!
