M.U. New Works Festival 2008
Hey constant readers...
I'd just like to point out that a new short play of mine (full of beautiful cussin' and sweet, sweet comedy) is being presented on the first night of the Marshall University's 2nd Annual New Works Festival. Some of you might remember my screenplay "Serious Business" that was read last year.
Anyhoo, again, it's three days worth of brand new material by myself, Jon Joy, Clint McElroy, Paul Deines (from New York) and Lee Shackleford from North Carolina (or South Carolina... either way... he used to write for Star Trek, so get on board). Anyway... below are some articles about it, but here's the skinny:
THIS THURSDAY! June 26th, 2008... at 8 p.m.!! Four one-acts will be presented!!
Lunch at the Fork 'N Finger by Jon Joy
Stealing Romance by T. Michael Murdock (that's TOTALLY ME!)
Things Get Done by Paul Deines (which I'm DIRECTING!)
Knight Owl by Clint McElroy (which I'm IN!)
Then, FRIDAY! June 27th, 2008 at 8 p.m.!! A brand-new full-length play:
A Sheep Among Wolves by Jon Joy (which I'm IN!)
Then, SATURDAY! June 28th, 2008 at 8 p.m.!! Another brand-new full-length play:
The Three Temptations of Jennifer Pierce by Lee Shackleford (this I have NOTHING to do with!!)
So there it is... COME ALL THREE DAYS!! (but certainly come on Thursday if you love me)
