June activity: X+Y=Z
For this challenge, I randomized each of us pairs of icons from each maker's own body of work. The challenge was to make a new icon inspired by the pair of old icons so that the new icon combines qualities we liked about the old icons - kind of like icon crossbreeding where the new icons 'inherit' qualities from their 'parent icons'.
Outside the cut you can just see all the new icons. But for those interested in what inspired these icons, I've included all the pairs of old icons under the spoiler cuts. Hover over the old icons to see which elements of them we mixed in the new icons, and hover over the new icons to see the icon number and fandom :>
