I am not shocked that the president had forewarning and did not completely believe it or do anything about it, and then later denied that knowledge. The current administration seems to lie over and over again, and has very selective hearing/memory. I think it's BS, and it's no wonder that after the many things the Bush administration has done wrong, it has such a small % of people supporting it - on the CNN news tonight I saw that there is ~37% in favor Bush right now (I don't remember the exact number, but it was definitely under 40%) and 18% in favor of Cheney currently, both of which are ridiculously low.
