Hacked
So my card got hacked... The amazing things of modern world. I called the bank to be sure about what happened and refute a charge that had been done and was let know that they had already shipped a new card and that my current one would still be active for a few days.
Cut to me walking in Auntie Anne's Pretzel, making my regular order and paying, or should I say trying to pay with my card, that was not active and left me hanging. There was the guy, looking at me, holding my pretzel bites, judging me deep inside for trying to scam dear auntie. And there I was, looking for a whole in the ground to hide, with my stomach growling, just dreaming about those tasty pieces of heaven and the hot salsa cheese dip.
But do not let your heart be troubled, because even amidst deep shame, I reminded myself I had my "emergency only" credit card with me, and I couldn't think about anything more emergent than lunch.
