Against all odds, a lone slash title produced in the LJ community (Captive Prince) has made it into the finals of this competition, beating out a multitude of het romances. This excellent story has to overcome one last hurdle in the FINALS. If you have a couple of free seconds, please vote for my friend Freece. Captive Prince has made it all the way to the finals of the DABWAHA awards, the ultimate drag-down book contest where bribes are allowed! And to help it win, you need to vote!
In the final round, we face Love Irresistibly, by Julie James. James and her book have come through five rounds of competition, winning over epic titles and carrying the banner of awesome contemporary romance.
Of the 64 books in the competition, only Love Irresistibly and Captive Prince are remaining. So this is it you guys . . . it all comes down to one vote.

- * Release a sneak-peek snippet from the book three manuscript * Post a DVD commentary for the sex scene in book two, complete with sexual position analysis! * Do a manuscript-writing livestream, where I write live, and you guys can come and hang out and chat and comment (I always love when visual artists do this) * An unofficial book 3 cover (let's call it a skin!) according to the original design concept in downloadable form for any who are curious what it would have looked like, and for all you readers who bought the original ebooks and want an image that matches to use on your ereaders when the Penguin version comes out * A Guess The Regent's Name Competition! I will host a competition that will give readers twenty-four hours to guess, and at the end of the day I will reveal the Regent's name. The first reader to have guessed correctly will receive a free copy of the books, signed and personalised if they wish. * A sketch of Laurent from E of Teahouse fame. That's right. E. Teahouse. Laurent. TEA PRINCES, PEOPLE. * A short series of writing meta posts detailing the specific writing techniques - plotting techniques, ideas-generation techniques etc - I learned and used when I stopped writing fanfic and started to write original fiction.
