This is the first day in so long...
...that I don't have to get out of bed. I'm so...happy. LOL In addition to my regular work and the S/B ebook project, I had made a commitment to help my girlfriend's aunt prepare a proposal for a presentation she would have the opportunity to make next week for a celebrity-themed restaurant in South Beach. I left my friend's apartment at 5 a.m. this morning, having completed the proposal, and I can't tell you how happy I was to have one more thing off my plate. There's more work to do but none of it is as important as getting the proposal done. I may stay in bed all day. :))
I was really stressed about this proposal because I did something I never do: instead of insisting that we all work Friday night until we finished, I allowed them to convince me to go out instead. My friend's father is a politician and someone called him with some last-minute tickets to the Alejandro Sanz concert in Madison Square Garden. I love Alejandro Sanz like I want to have his children. LOL We had fifth row center seats, and the concert was in MSG's smaller theater (there was a Knicks game going on in the arena). I can't tell you how much I love that man. :) Then, of course, if you're out with Spanish people it means that you have to eat dinner at midnight, after the show, at a place with a live salsa band and that sells Sofrito Mojitos...
Anyway, I was completely stressed out because I got home late, and got up late, and we didn't get back to work on the proposal until one p.m. on Saturday...and my friend's aunt was leaving on Sunday. I just knew we didn't have time to finish.
But we finished, and I'm so glad to have this off my plate, more or less.
Now, maybe I can actually try to get re-oriented to fandom. Hot damn I have the whole day...free. Hee!
