The Star Wars DCU
I'm...not exactly sure how wachey convinced me to do this. Resistance was futile...wait...wrong universe. ;)
Anyway, after many discussions, wachey and I decided to set up a crossover community called...The Star Wars DCU (starwarsdcu).
We're going to post our fic and art efforts to the comm, and invite those of you who expressed an interest in this to join and post your own creative works and speculation. Gen, Het and Slash are welcome. All pairings, as long as the work contemplates DCU characters in the Star Wars setting. By Star Wars setting we mean you can go straight movie-verse, mine the books, the comics, the video games...whatever. You can have Bruce being trained by Yoda or can have Bruce and Clark enrolled in Jedi Academy a la Knights of the Old Republic.
There is only one caveat. We are trying to set up a shared universe, meaning that anything that gets posted to the comm can be used, remixed, extrapolated upon, continued, re-envisioned -- whatever. If someone is well-versed in Star Wars particulars and sets up a framework, we'd like people to be able to build upon it. In this way, we hope it'll be a little easier for people to jump in.
So, please join us if you're interested. Or, at the very least, head over to the comm and check out the larger versions of wachey's adorable DCU Star Wars chibis. :))
I swear, this is the only new writing project I'll be doing this year...
Hmm...I wonder if chibis would be considered child porn...they are rather small and young-looking. Maybe I should add a disclaimer: All chibis are over the age of 18...no matter how they look. LOL
