Why is it...
...that so much of the Lord of the Rings Aragorn/Legolas fanfic is so damn depressing? Why do people insist on sticking to the one bit of canon (while trouncing all other canon) that has Aragorn marrying Arwen? It's such a friggin' depressing fandom! So much permanent heartache, death and separation that lasts forever -- even past death. Goodness gracious.
