ROTFL! This made my day. I can't wait for the issue. Maybe we'll get some good mpreg fic from it. :-)

For some reason. S/B is the only pairing I've ever seriously wanted to do some sort of MPREG with...or maybe I'd really prefer a gender bender because true MPREG would be too hard for me. But this scenario--definite MPREG possibilities. LOL

Me too. As a matter of fact, I'm kinda/sorta working on one.

true MPREG would be too hard for me.

It's definitely not easy. I've given up numerous times.

LOL! I've read several mpregs (some good, some not so good). What are some of the things you like about mpreg? I ask because I want to know some of the elements I need to concentrate on. And what type of delivery do you prefer??? Help!

LOL, I'm not an MPREG person usually. I think the scenario appeals to me in comics because it could possibly happen, so there's an air of potential plausibility, if it's done right. The only MPREGs I like are the ones where the guys still act like guys, when the situation is treated like the outrageous thing it is, and the characters are forced to deal with that from a male perspective. I don't like Mary Sue-type MPREGs or one's where the author's psyche is leaking out left and right. I think if I were ever to write one, I'd not go the route of having the pregnant male actually deliver in a normal sense. Unless there's an aspect of gender bending (the guy actually is a female during the pregnancy), I prefer something...else, something more innovative/unusual. If I were to do an MPREG that I would take seriously, I'd use some sort of space rift or magical process, or alien technology -- something that makes the manifestation process not...a mirror of a female process ( ... )

::nods:: I agree!

YES! Same here. The characters HAVE to stay in character for it to work.

Again, I agree. But I don't like Mary Sue's to begin with...;-)

I accidently hit post before I was finished typing. Anyway, your ideas are basically in line with what I was considering. Now if I can only sit down and write.
