Well I havent put a good update in awhile it seems. This week at work I got alot done for my event, Im on the tail end of stuff. I was working on the sleigh with these ladies at the Historical Society and I was putting bells on the front of the sleigh by tying them to ribbon and staple gunning them. Belles 85 and Faye is 75 and they are so sweet. Well as Im putting them on Belle goes "Ive worked with colored people and I know how to nigger rig it." Mind you I hate that word but I just about peed my pants laughing. Fucking hilarious women.
I flew home Thursday morning, I got up at 3:15 am, left for the airport at 3:55 and was there in the terminal at 5. I thought the plane would be overbooked so I wanted to make sure I got there early and had seating A (southwest is wierd) but the plane ended up being half empty and I had my own row. I only slept about 20 min on the plane which sucked of course. Mom picked me up and we headed to Grandmoms at the shore. It was nice seeing the fam, I didnt play in the football game for fear of dying from being so tired. Went back to grandmoms to take a nap and never ended up napping. But had a good time with my cousins and Howie Jills boyfriend. We were playing quarters and decided to go to the Wheatleys (My Aunt Denises family-both familys grew up together grandfathers were best friends) They are sucha rowdy bunch so we went there playing quarters until 2. We made Jimmy our 16 yr old cousin DD for us. Hes a good kid when he wants to be. Came home early Friday cause Mom had to work, and napped and sorted through pictures. Im making a scrapbook for Shannon and Sara for Christmas. Then went and met up with Toni and Sara and Bruce (who I went to HS with and havent seen since) Was exhausted so I was a party pooper and didnt stay out late. But it was good to see my girlies.
Yesterday went to Kristins to go pick a bridesmaids dress. It was fun, she had 4 picked out and the three bridesmaids there got to play dress up. We were down to 2 and couldnt decide so we made her put her dress on. The one we picked is so pretty. Shes doing navy blue, and I think it will look great in that color. Its 2 pieces and strapless and Im sure well freeze since the weddings in October in Lock Haven area. Then we got back to her house realized I left my coat at the shop and tried to get there by 4 when they close. Called at 5 of 4 and they didnt answer. Got there 5 after and the bastards were gone. So Kristin will ahve to get it and hold on to it. Blonde moment! Mom and I saw Rent last night, and I loved it. I think she was a little shocked becuase she didnt know what it was going to be about. Im home right now in PA until 1 when my flight leaves Philly airport. Its been nice to be home, but I feel so rushed. I mean not today Im done packing, and Im only taking home an extra little bag with christmas lights and stuff. Well bestest go hang w/ Mom a little longer.
OOO but one more thought. Im going Snowboarding in January because I got a flight $49 each way to Philly Martin Luther King weekend!!
