i <3 florida
So things have been falling into place relatively speaking....
Mom and Marci were here until yesterday. We did some shopping and on Sunday Mom and I spent the day at Epcot. We were supposed to go to MGM Monday but Hurricane Wilma shut most things down so we chilled around before going to Joann fabrics then back here to jump in the pool. Marci made my blah curtains totally cute with some lil flips or tie backs. Monday night we hit Margaritaville and ate lots. My friend Blanco (from Japan) is in town and was supposed to meet us but something came up... I thought hed call yesterday or todya but he didnt. O well. Changed my license plate to Florida on Tuesday and I got the one with the sea turtle :-) its so cute! Last night Aaron came over and I made him dinner. It was just pasta with meat, but he claims he cant cook. We went to a Pub to watch some of the world series and then to see the Fog. Such a horrible movie! He came back and stayed with me, and I made him pancakes and bacon this morning. Since he wont let me pay yet, since I havent started my job, I figure I'll keep cooking. After he left I ran a few errands and then I went to check out Wekiwa Springs State Park. Its gorgeoues! I love it. I parked at the springs(its a big pool they have greated and it bubbles and you can swim in it) and I went for a hike to the lake. I did about 4 1/2 miles roundtrip, and it was so peaceful. I saw deer, flowers, birds, and peacocks. I think Im going Saturday morning for a Ranger Talk. I figure I have to teach environmental education as part of my job, so I should learn more about the area.
Now im just chilling alone, enjoying the peace and quiet. I cant wait for my furniture to get here so I can unpack everything. And vaccumm. Why did I put my vaccumm on the moving truck?
