Do we get deducted points automatically from voting if we go over the word limit? Or if we go over the word limit by, you know, a LOT, say double the word limit, should we just not enter it and write something else?

Oooh, I like that we can mix and match, and do other things, besides just a story.

Nah, points have nothing to do with the word limit. It's more of a "try to keep it shorter if possible thing" If you get longer, go for it!

Yeah, I was going for the idea of making the options for participating as open as possible. Some people are better at drabbles, some at icons, some at fic, etc. :)

Okay, I'm struggling but I'm trying really hard to get a submission ready for Friday. *Boots Yoda out of the room.*

Yay! I'm considering an extension though. Just cause... it is the first week after holidays, maybe another week may be good.

I feel like I'm screwing this up, somehow... but YAY! for a drabble-in-five-minutes-at-the-last-minute!

Title: Tea Time
Rating: G
Word Count: 100

DG and Alice sat in the small café in Central City, far enough off the beaten path that DG wouldn't be recognized - or, at least, ignored by them - and enjoyed one of their soon-to-be monthly visits. Both young women had a lot in common, but were also vastly different.

It was that middle ground - okay, maybe a bit more of the stuck in a strange land-similarities - that kept the girls immersed behind their tea and pie. Alice enjoyed the regular cup of tea she expected tea to be, while DG was glad to have someone to talk Other Side with.

Nah, no screw up, I just extended till the end of the day cause my work is screwing with me getting MY stuff up. Put a quick post up about it this morning. That and I said if people wanted they could do a link from their journals.. but this works too. I'll make a post with links at the end of the day to everything that was comment posted :)

Also, like the drabble! :) Monthly visits between the two girls. Lovely idea!

I saw that and will gladly post it as a post, if you'd prefer.

Couldn't find a specific "do this" in my quick-scan of the posts %]
