More quotes I really hope make it:

“You’re okay,” he mumbled, before Hermione flew at him and hugged him tightly.
“I thought - I thought - "
“M all right,” said Ron, patting her on the back. “M fine.”
“Ron was great,” said Tonks warmly, relinquishing her hold on Lupin. “Wonderful. Stunned one of the Death Eaters, straight to the head, and when you’re aiming at a moving target from a flying broom -“
“You did?” said Hermione, gazing up at Ron with her arms still around his neck.
“Always the tone of surprise,” he said grumpily, breaking free.

-of course, "always the tone of surprise" is the key part of this!

“This isn’t your average book,” said Ron. “It’s pure gold: ‘Twelve Fail-Safe Ways to Charm Witches’. Explains everything you need to know about girls. If only I’d had this last year I’d have known exactly how to get rid of Lavender and I would’ve known how to get going with…Well, Fred and George gave me a copy, and I’ve learned a lot. You’d be surprised, it’s not all about wandwork either.”

-the "wandwork" bit of this makes me giggle

“Yeah,” said Ron. “Could’ve been worse. Remember those birds she set on me?”
“I still haven’t ruled it out,” came Hermione’s muffled voice from beneath her blankets, "

-Hermione FTW

"We need to offer him something else, something just as valuable."
"Brilliant. I'll go and get one of our other ancient goblin-made swords and you can gift wrap it."

-I loooooove snarky Ron, I really hope they keep all the little snarky bits!

And most importantly:
“Is this the moment?” Harry asked weakly, and when nothing happened except that Ron and Hermione gripped each other still more firmly and swayed on the spot, he raised his voice. “Oi! There’s a war going on here!”
Ron and Hermione broke apart, their arms still around each other.
“I know, mate,” said Ron, who looked as though he had recently been hit on the back of the head with a Bludger, “so it’s now or never, isn’t it?”
“Never mind that, what about the Horcrux?” Harry shouted. “D’you think you could just - just hold it in until we’ve got the diadem?”

- I love the "is this the moment?" "now or never" and "hold it in" parts especially!

Yes. Yes. Yes and yes. (I had the first one down, "always the tone of surprise", but that whole section should stay, please)

all of it.

Hm, they just need have taken the DH book and turned it in as is for the final script.

I'm really worried about the kiss scene because there was something about how Dan wasn't there that day?? I will die if he's not there. Die.

Noooooooooo! Embarrassed/exasperated Harry is essential to the scene!

Hate to be a huge movie bummer, so don't read on if you don't like spoilery info... Dan was definitely not there when they kissed on set; he saw the kiss in dailies and then commented on how great it was to the press, but he wasn't there for the actual shoot. However, with the way movies are edited, it's possible that the kiss is a shot that only shows Ron and Hermione, so they could have shot the kiss one day and then the interruption another day. Just don't get your hopes up.

It would be wonderful to see all of those quotes in the movie, but I'm more interested in the "spirit" of Ron's character arc being portrayed accurately than the actual quotes. Kloves' Ron is a lot more of a cowardly buffoon than canon Ron, so I'm just keeping fingers crossed that Ron (and by extension Rupert Grint) gets to shine in these last two films (along with Dan and Emma, who always get to, in my opinion).

............yeah. That's what I thought. I am just going to have to not think about that to be honest... It brings me down. heh

I'm wondering if that means the kiss will happen in the Chamber of Secrets or as a result of Ron speaking Parseltongue... I thought of that because it seemed like a way to kill two birds with one stone... first, they wouldn't have to address the house elf thing, and second, it would make sense because Harry isn't there during that scene. I mean... I can see how that would make sense, but why ruin what might possibly be the most anticipated moment between them in the books?? Ah well....

And as for Ron, yeah, I agree with what you said about wanting Ron's spirit to get portrayed correctly, and I think, from what we've seen and heard, that it's heading in a good direction. But I do have a few quotes that I really would like to hear in the films. It's the last chance they have to make Ron perfect, and some of the things he says in DH kind of define him to me. It's just the way things are phrased I guess. I lot of what you know about his "spirit" comes across in what he says, so I think it will be important for him to say things the right way... if that makes sense ;)

In any event, this film is shaping up to be the best in my opinion :)... but then I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high at the same time!
