It's Hard To Believe I've Been Back Almost A Week
It's hard to believe this vacation ended. It was much needed, restful and heart-transforming. It will take me quite some time to process through everything that happened, and decide what's safe to share and what's not.
However, it really was a wonderful time with my family in BC. I've never skiied the West Coast before, and I have to say that I'm now a complete convert. Although we only really got sun on the first day, it was still beautiful weather and incredible powder. The runs are huge, and long... so long that I had to stop and rest my aching legs at least one or two times down each run on the first day. I eventually got my "ski legs" under me, though, and I'm proud to say that I even tackled a West Coast black diamond with the help of my awesome cousin, Jamie (who was on a snowboard and was much better at pretty much everything than me!)
I've also encountered a new photosharing site that I like a lot. So, here's my BC skiing album (with family photos removed to protect the anonymity of the people you could Google anyway.)
