Going out of my mind looking for this one
I read a story a while ago and apparently I didn't save it, so I would greatly appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction.
In the story Cain leaves I think and DG has other guards. There is an attempt on her life and she has to kill in self-defense. She gets her guards to teach her to shoot. Then there is an attempt on Az and she becomes a hard, closed off, person. I think that in one of the attempts her a guard that she was friends with died. She carries a gun all the time and is very fierce with some visiting dignitaries that I believe Cain was escorting.
I'm pretty sure that it is, or was when I read it, an unfinished story.
