ooc: Movieverse!Rogue

When Logan saved Rogue's life on the Statue of Liberty it was more than just his healing that she received. It was a complete package: mutant power, memories, feelings, desires. The same thing happened with Magneto. For a week after the incident--that's what everyone called it, the "Incident"--Rogue wasn't always aware of exactly who she was. Usually the mix-up happened late at night when she was struggling to sleep because of nightmares. Labs and tubes and towers of smoke with burning bodies in ovens. It was hard to differentiate exactly who the memories belonged to; they liked to blend together.

Sometimes when she woke up from the nightmares she wasn't completely herself. It scared Rogue how easily the two dominant men were able to invade her psyche and nearly take over. At least with Logan it was an accident. Usually because Ms. Grey was walking by and her scent would spark his interest. That always made Rogue blush, seeing what Logan thought of her professor.

Magneto fought for control. His mind stayed longer than his power; even as that faded, as it became difficult to sense the metal around her he stayed, struggling to override her control. He never won. Neither of them did; it was just easier for them to push to the forefront when her mind was clouded with sleep.
