#195. Heores and Villains
I am a villain.
At least at the moment I am. To some of ya that is. An' yet to others I'm a hero.
I don't think I can answer this all that clearly. Heroes an' villains. The line between them ain't there anymore. Blown away by the dozen of different things all of us have been involved in. By the various horrors of this world makin' it too hard to not stand up an' do somethin' about them.
But that ain't what this is about. Not really.
Its about what makes us who we are. I've read everyone's ideas. Agree with some, don't so much agree with others. Don't think it really matters what exactly my feelin's are.
I have an idea though. How about instead of us decidin' who amongst us are the villains an' who're the heroes we actually go an' get somethin' done.
Stop the damn fightin' an' just make this world better. Make it so we ain't gotta be tryin' ta define every lil' aspect of who we are.
I'm tired of the fightin'. Tired of bein' at odds with the people I love. An' I do still love all of you which probably makes me look weak in some of my teammate's eyes. An' fine, I'll deal with that but I want it all ta stop.
I don't wanna be yellin' at Lorna anymore. Or fightin' with Jean cause of some idiotic crap she pulled on my best friend. I don't wanna keep havin' nightmares about the day that's gonna come where I'm on the other side, defendin' Pyro or Toad cause someone else I love is tryin' ta hurt them.
I don't care about heroes or villains.
I care about all of you an' I just wish we could all find the gray in our lives. Instead of separatin' us all into black an' white categories.
