Billy stands against the wall, his head slightly down as he waits for Joe by the foot of the stairs. The music is still blaring and once in a while he looks up to watch the crowd on the dance floor move together like one, large, organic mass. This place kind of freaks him out, basement antics aside. "Hey," Joe says, sounding a little out of breath when he reaches Billy's side. He's always sort of liked Lucid himself, he seems completely normal in comparison to most of the people there and he enjoys that.

"You're so fucking anti-social," he says with a grin, nudging Billy's shoulder.

Billy looks up at Joe, his head still down, and grins back. "Yeah, yeah, I fucking know." He pushes slightly off the wall. "You ready to check out the upstairs?"

"You don't wanna make friends first?" Joe asks, pushing himself into Billy's space. "That guy in the leather pants keeps checking you out."

He's teasing, trying to see if he can make Billy blush again.

Billy looks around at that, moving so he's half hidden behind Joe. "What? Fuck off," he feels his face burn slightly. He reaches and put his hand on the sleeve of Joe's elbow. "Let's go already."

It's mostly true. The guy in the leather has been checking Billy out for the majority of the night, but he's also been avoiding looking at Joe and looking away quickly if he does happen to catch Joe's eye.

"Yeah, don't worry about him," he says, reaching up to touch Billy's face. He really does like it when Billy blushes. "He's scared of me anyway."

"Do you know him?" Billy asks, his hand tightening a bit on Joe's elbow. He smiles a bit, pushing his cheek into Joe's hand. "You often hang around weird guys in leather pants?"

"We're not close buddies," Joe says, leaning into Billy more. He brushes his thumb over Billy's cheek, grinning. "I was here once with these guys Tucker and Warren..." Tucker, who enabled Joe to get high once or twice, who encouraged Joe to mix drugs, which is probably something Joe will never tell Billy.

"That guy was here, too. He kept fucking looking at us. Creepy as shit. So I told him to fuck off."

Billy makes a face at that, but he relaxes against Joe's touch, turning his head up slightly. "So maybe he's not checking me out, maybe he's checking you out," Billy grins.

Joe shakes his head, leaning in to follow his thumb with his mouth. "No fucking way. He's definitely looking at you."

Billy's eyes slip shut and he turns his head slightly to the side, putting a hand on the back of Joe's neck. "You gonna defend my honour if he comes over here, Joe?"

"Always, Billiam," Joe says, his mouth still moving across Billy's face.

Billy turns his head again and catches Joe's mouth against his, momentairly forgetting where they were or who might be watching.

Joe smiles and slides his hand around to cup the back of Billy's head, kissing him deeply. When they part, Joe sneaks a glance at the leather pants guy who's still watching and looking mildly disappointed.

Billy nuzzles Joe's jaw lightly with his lips and nose. He notices Joe looking at the guy in the leather and nudges him. "Forget about him."

"It's funny," Joe says, turning back to Billy. "He fucking wants you and I get you."

I have to head to work in a bit, so I may not be around when you get back. How'd filling out the application go yesterday?

"So just because I agreed to go upstairs with you, you think you're gonna get lucky?" Billy grins teasingly.

Thankfully I am DONE! For one board anyway. I just hope I didn't fuck up too badly [cries]. I noticed one mistake I made, but it shouldn't be too bad, and I hope it doesn't come back to haunt me :(
