Aidan counts down the rest of the till in the register and smiles to himself as it is completely even. He always likes it when things are spot on in the money department. "I'm just glad the night is over." Face shouted to the back room as he put a few chairs up on the tables. "That girl who was pretending to be a guy pretending to be a girl was seriously freaking me out."

Aidan prints out how they did for the night and puts it on the desk for the boss man to see. (Who, Aidan calls Charlie because he has never seen the boss man but one does exist. Also, he has three kick ass hot bartender's working for him...)

"She wanted me to go upstairs with her... cornered me during my break. Luckily she got me at the last few minutes, so I could safely decline." He shook his head, grabbing his jacket. "Want me to give you a ride to the subway station? it's pretty late."

"Oh yeah, thanks." Aidan puts on his jacket and turns off the lights.

"You ready then?" He heads on back to the back door towards the alley where Face parks his bike.

"Ready as I'll ever be." He motioned for Aidan to exit, holding the metal gate up a bit for them to duck under.

He had learned from that time long ago when he had been attacked while locking up.

Aidan bolts the bottom of the gate and walks with Face out where his bike his.

He likes that they walk together now. Aidan may be immortal, but this is still a back alley in New York at night. No thank you!

Aidan stops as he gets to Face's bike and looks out towards the other back alley. His face is frozen in a stare that no one has ever really seen Aidan get. It is obvious that his heart started to pump a bit faster and he was a little nervous about something.

He steps away from the bike so he can look towards the back alley more. Not only can he sense another immortal, but he can sense two and there is a fight happening right around the corner. He knows that they can sense him too because they paused for a moment...

Without looking at Face and with a tone that is not Aidan at all he says, "Acually, Face. You got to get out of here."

See, that's the worst thing to tell Face. He observes Aidan, seeing the stance, the look, and especially the tone, he knows something's wrong.

And a loyal friend never leaves another when there is trouble. "What's wrong, Aid?" he asked, his hand going to his hip where he still keeps his throwing daggers.

Aidan looks at Face, "There are immortals fighting. A part of me wants to get out of here as quick as I can...the other part of me wants to know who is fighting and hope that isn't one of my friends."

Aidan doesn't like to be alone and he hates knowing that perhaps one of his friends is in trouble. He couldn't do anything about it...except take the head of the other while he is down...He has a chance there.

Completely serious. If Aidan looked at Face, he'd see Face for the first time as a real soldier, and not the playboy he pretended to be.

Aidan is actually a little taken back by the new side of Face. It actually gives him comfort. Aidan takes out his custom broadsword that was given to him by his kinsman and goes in the direction of the clanging swords.

He follows, thinking best to reach for his holdout at the small of his back. He only wears it on work nights, really.

The immortals have started fighting again, neither of them giving the newcomer more than that pause at the moment as both are far more interested in each other.

It would seem to an onlooker that this is a rather old rivalry.

And no, that's not Methos, it just looks like him. ;)

Aidan doesn't see anyone that he knows. Usually that is a good thing. Usually a sane person would walk away right now and get the hell out of there.

Aidan is a sane person (despite what people think) and he backs up slowly. "We have to get out of here. Something...doesn't feel right."
