Yes, of course! One or two instrumental tracks would work just fine. Just mark it as an instrumental in the lyrics section, and/or include some little tidbit as to why it's fitting if the title doesn't do it for you

Can we just upload the cover art we made for the fanmix or do we have to use the coding in the comment?

You can upload it and provide a link, if you wish. The entry is not based on a cover, so it'll be considered 'extra'
