Another Year Gone
This will be short and sweet but I was reminded that I have been neglecting my LJ. I guess it's a good thing that I didn't make one of my New Year's Resolutions to be more regular with my LJ posts, right?
So, 2007 is gone and 2008 is here. I think it's amusing when you hear people say good riddance to the previous year. Was it really the worst year ever? As many of you know, 2007 was probably one of the most difficult years for me (so far) in my short life. Do I think it was the worst year ever? Not necessarily. Obviously there are things that happened that I wish hadn't, but when has a year ever passed that you don't feel like that is the case? In 2007, I grew immensely as a person and, I believe, I learned more about who 'Daniel' is. For this, I am grateful.
With that being said... Goodbye 2007! Thank you for all you gave me, good and bad. Welcome 2008! I eagerly await what you have in store for me.
