I wrote a poem last night..
...based on a 3rd falling out that happened just yesterday between me and some...person...who I've known for only two months:
Till I'm BLUE in the Face
Till I'm blue in the face
I've said my peace
and my apologies to you more than once...
Till I'm blue in the face
I spoke my thoughts
spoke my mind
only to find...out
that you're not hearing a word I'm saying
and misunderstanding
my words, my mind and my thoughts
about my wrongful actions towards you...
Till I'm blue in the face I try to reason with a woman
who apparently wants to be unreasonable...
Till I'm blue in the face
I try to tell her that I did care about her,
but she let everything I said to her
go from one ear and out the other...
Well I am tired and sick
of trying to lay it on you thick
you just ain't gettin' it
'cause you being so damn hard-headed!!!
Stubborn as a bull
and cold as ice towards me
knowin' damn well I'm not the fucken enemy...
Trying to get you to feel my words,
my mind
and my thoughts
was a fucken waste
I'm DONE with apologizin', reasonin' and speakin' my peace
till I am completely BLUE in the muthafucken face!!!
