My birthday was much better than expected. I woke up early to pretty purple flowers and a letter from Aaron sitting on my desk. I won't go into details about the letter, but basically it was very nice, thoughtful, and sweet.
I got up and spent the morning lounging lazily in super comfy pajamas and playing monopoly online. I talked to a couple of my friends, munched on some leftovers, and listened to music until Aaron woke up. Then I got dressed and purty-fied, and since I was still pretty bummed about letting Molly go, we went to go to pet stores and price leezurd stuff. It's going to cost me ~$40 to get set up with leezurd things, if I use one of Aaron's old fish tanks and catch the leezurds myself ;P At first I thought I might not want to do that afterall, since that's a bit of money while I'm trying to save, and they don't like to be handled anyway. So I briefly thought about and did some research on snakes, and other leezurds that like to be held; but I don't think those will be any time soon either. Anyway, I got snookums a bunch of new stuff as per the vet's instructions. I got him some mixed large nuts, some birdy-trail mix, monkey biscuits, millet, cuttle bone, some wooden chew toys, and a couple new branch perches. A nice storm came in as soon as we left the house, so clomping around the rain was both enjoyable and slightly tedious (because of the cold).
We went to lunch at Carrabas, and the storm intensified quite a bit. We had to clomp through 3 inches of water in the parking lot, but it was worth it. Lunch was incredibly yummy, and the thunder and lightning made it even more relaxing. After lunch, we went to Old Navy so I could look around and try some things on - since I asked my family for gift cards from there so I could buy summer clothes and such. Aaron got me a couple things, some comfy lounge pants and some comfy short jogging/pajama shorts. We went to another old navy because the first one didn't have the pants I wanted in the right size. I got a couple pairs of them at the other one, and was a very happy camper.
Then we decided to go see a movie, so we went to the theatre and saw Walking Tall. It was better than I had expected, it had a lot of humor and hawt chicks in it. Johnny knoxville was pretty good, I was surprised.
On the way home I got a yummy cappucino *from the gas station - F starbucks, this specific brand of ghetto capuccino is SO YUMMY!*. Played some more games, and then I went to sleep. Overall, it was a very good day.
