Europe

I just got back from 2 weeks of traveling around Europe. That's 4 countries in 2 weeks. We went to London, Dublin, Paris and Rome. I officially HATE Paris with a passion and think everyone I met there was rude. If you'd like me to elaborate I'll tell you in person. It's too much to write.

Brief summary though

London-pretty fun, no good food...except snacks at Tesco's (I'm addicted to Jaffa Cakes, but then again who wouldn't be), Picadilly Circus is a lame version of Time's Square and sucks. The Tower of London was fun and my favorite place in London is Westminster Abbey by far!!! I really don't remember eating anything good except that I like beans in tomato sauce.

Dublin- St. Patty's Day was INSANE. Anyone that tries to tell you that the Irish don't dress up in green and ridiculous cheesy outfits is wrong. Everyone is drinking in the streets. I sidestepped piles of vomit all day. Irish people were so amazing and friendly. Everyone was Irish that Day. Guinness Brewery at 11am was not a great idea, due to drinking in the morning, but was fun. It is officially IMPOSSIBLE NOT TO GET LOST IN DULBLIN even with a map. We walked 14 miles that day.

Paris- The people are rude. Montmarte is home to Moulin Rouge, but also a whole street of "SEXY SHOPS" no joke. Metro was dirty. Everything was way overpriced. The only good I could eat there was crepes and anything from a boulangerie/cheese. The Mona Lisa and Tour Eiffel were worth Paris. The Louvre is impossible NOT to get lost in and impossible to complete in a day.

Rome- was amazing and I'll get my Italian citizenship so I have the option of living there. I'm more confident that I can sorta speak Italian. Most everyone was friendly and welcoming. There was awesome pizza and food. Almost all food was really really cheap. All the attractions were basically free. Piazza Navona is a great place to get gelato and just sit. The Trevi Fountain is gorgeous. Never go to Palantine Hill without going to the bathroom first...it's easy to get lost for hours. The Colosseum was incredible. The Vatican was indescribable and I could never do it justice. I'm officially completely in love with the city of Rome. I'll miss the 70 degree weather in Italy.

That's it for now I guess. If you're really curious I'll tell you in person.
