Friday:
Hey Seattle Bitches!!! Get right and come kick off your Pride weekend proper at the Seattle Eagle! I'll be providing blowjobsmusical attitude adjustment from 10pm - 2am.
There's a new addition to the Seattle Eagle, a go-go cage that's been appalingly empty. So... I'm buying shots if you get in the new go-go cage; two shots if you have a buddy, you both take your shirts off, shake what yo mama gave ya, and make out :) Offer is good for this Friday only, until I run out of Ca$h, but if my tip jar is full, I'll keep buying shots!
Saturday:
Come show some love for the laydeez at the
Wildrose Pride Party. It's hosted by Pho Bangers Ursula Android and Jackie Hell, and there will be a ton of fun bands performing. No CeCe Peniston in this house! Bands performing on Saturday include Stink Mitt, Ms. Led, LD & Her Pretty Pretties, Dan Deacon, and the amazing queen of the gem sweaters,
Leslie and the Lys!!!
On a final note:
Huge snaps/props/love must be given to the super awesome
unpetitours, for introducing me to THE mother-funkin' party jam for Pride 2007! The infectious and bouncy synth-pop masterpiece "Friends" comes from a well-loved musical duo that's been around for ages. No, we're not talking Erasure or the Pet Shop Boys. We're talking
WEEN. Yes kids, "Voodoo Lady" and "Paint The Town Brown" Ween. They're back with an EP chock full of cheeky goodness, with a full album to be released this fall.
This song has alot of vintage late 80s/early 90s synth action going on ala Erasure and Alphaville, complete with utterly banal lyrics: "A friend's a friend who knows what being a friend is," totally blurring the line between homage and parody. Im betting I'll be over this musical crush by the end of the weekend, but for now, I'm smitten. Clicky on the link below to download.
