Does this mean that we're both in the doghouse?
Brandon and I both forgot our second anniversary.
Yesterday was a mostly typical Sunday - a relaxing day spent poolside, a quiet dinner at home, and a movie before we went to sleep. As we curled up in bed together, Brandon said, "Wait, wasn't today our anniversary?"
"No, it's the 27th, isn't it?" I replied.
"Pretty sure it was today."
"Are you sure?"
"I think so."
"Shit. Happy anniversary, sweetheart."
Perhaps we'll make up for forgetting when we celebrate the third anniversary of our first wedding in July.
