Personal best
I ran three miles today! That's the furthest I've ever run in my life.
Granted, it was on a treadmill and with no incline whatsoever, but dammit, I'm still proud. Considering that walking for more than five minutes was difficult seven months ago, it's something of an accomplishment.
Anyway...
Life in the States is good. Seeing friends and family is good, watching movies in English is good, and the food is VERY good. Four pounds of flab good, in fact. I'm still goggling in wonder every time we enter a supermarket. Such variety! Such deliciousness! And no squid products in sight!
We're currently in Kansas, hanging out with old friends of Brandon's and generally having a hell of a time. Next stop is Phoenix, then VEGAS(!), then Indy with a side trip to Detroit and hopefully one to Chicago. Thank you, Visa card.
